Summit of the Americas Networking Event

The 2026 IAADFS Summit of the Americas kicked off with a rousing gathering of the Women in Travel Retail + at the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel in Orlando, Florida on March 28.
Travel Markets Insider Publisher Lois Pasternak welcomed the gathering, and spoke briefly about the organization’s mentoring program, and this year’s designated WiTR+ charity, Morgan’s Army.
The annual raffle in support of the charity raised more than $350, on top of the $2,500 donated by Essence Corp through its KickCancerThon event, also in support of Morgan’s Army.
One highlight of the evening was a “wheel of fortune” donated by Anne Dickhardt, founder & CEO of ANY DI Munich, who shared the story of her luxury accessory brand which has been very successful wherever it has launched in travel retail to date. Everyone attending had the opportunity to spin the wheel – all spinners won a prize from ANY DI. Another highlight were the non-alcoholic beverages provided by Catherine Restrepo Gallo’s SYZYGY Brands.
